Greenworks Building Supply is hiring a full time customer service/sales person.

We are a green general store with a focus on paint and finish. We carry low or zero-voc paint and wood finish, natural plasters, floor coverings, mattresses and organic bedding. We have a refill bar for cleaners and personal care items and carry locally made gift items.

Job Description: Help customers pick products for their next project. Create estimates and follow up. Place orders and receive product. Pack shipments from the online store. Help customers fill containers in the refill bar. Stock shelves and merchandise product. General showroom maintenance ie: Sweep and dust, clean surfaces etc. Open and close the store including cash out.

If you are creative there is the opportunity to try products out making samples, creating video content and social media posts.

Qualifications: A good attitude, great customer service skills, able to lift 50 lbs. Retail experience is an asset. Think on your feet. Interest in a sustainable lifestyle and the products that we sell would be preferable. Fork lift ticket would be an asset but not a requirement.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 9-4 this could change to include Saturday’s at some point.

All customers are required to ware masks. Work stations are separated. Curb side pick up available
